Buffalo Chicken Dip

bcdtitle

It’s officially football season and for me, that means it’s the season of dips. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy watching football, mainly because it reminds me that fall weather is just around the corner. I also consider myself somewhat of a dip connoisseur. If it could be a skill I could include on my resume, I would.

This buffalo chicken dip is by far my favorite and loved by all! There are obviously quicker ways to make it, but in my opinion they just aren’t as good.

First, gather all of your ingredients: chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, cream cheese, and shredded cheese. You can use any type of shredded cheese you like. I prefer to use mozzarella.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Then, trim the fat off of the chicken breasts and cover them in buffalo sauce. Bake chicken for 20-25 minutes. For larger pieces of chicken, it may need a little extra time. (You don’t have to do this step, but the chicken cooked in buffalo sauce really gives it an extra kick). Once the chicken is done, take it out of the juice and shred.

Now it’s time to add in your cheeses! I like to cut up the cream cheese into cubes. Add the shredded cheese, ranch dressing and more buffalo sauce (of course). Once you add it all together, bake it for 20 minutes at 350 degrees F.

Once that’s done, mix it all together and add some extra shredded cheese on top and pop it back in the oven for 5-10 more minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Carefully remove it from the oven and ENJOY! 🙂

  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 8 oz (1 package) cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Pour 1/2 cup of buffalo sauce over the chicken and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  2. Remove from oven and shred the chicken. Drain any extra juice.
  3. Add the remaining 1/2 cup buffalo sauce, cream cheese (cubed), 1/2 cup shredded cheese and ranch dressing to the shredded chicken and bake for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and mix everything together. Add the remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheese to the top and place back in the oven for 5-10 minutes, until bubbly.
  5. Enjoy with tortilla chips or carrots and celery!

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

xoxo, Jaclyn
